The Lodge

Located on the Southside of LUX you will find Cypress Park.  Cypress Park is a privately owned lodge equipped for hunting and entertaining.  With six cozy guest rooms, an outdoor entertaining facility, a fully stocked bar, and Wi-Fi this is not your typical cabin in the woods.  Guests will experience excellent meals prepared by a talented chef featuring local seafood, wild game, and American classics.  The hospitality team is also there to ensure a clean and cozy environment to help you relax when out of the field.

We will provide a light continental breakfast before the hunt.  Depending on how the day goes, we will either come back to the lodge for a large brunch spread or stay nimble and have food brought to us in the field while we are in pursuit.  As the sun begins to settle, we will do the same and enter into a cocktail and hors d’oeuvres period and from there dinner.  Dinner will be an experience all by itself as we dine on a 16’ reclaimed piece of timber out of a river. If you have a keen eye you may even be able to find the shark’s teeth in the table.

The accommodations of the lodge are plush enough to make you feel as if you have never left home. The guestrooms are as follows, one of which is 100% ADA compliant; three with queen beds, two with (2) twin beds, and one with (2) sets of bunk beds.  The bedrooms are accommodated with Jack and Jill style furnishings, with the sinks in the bedroom.  All linens and towels are provided.  The hospitality team will clean your room and make your bed daily.    

The porch outside offers us a chance to hang out by the fire, listen to music, and enjoy each other’s company.  This is also where we will be enjoying local oysters and shrimp.  

The Cypress Bar is there to ensure you never go thirsty.  Though we do not have a bartender on staff, we do have some seasoned enthusiasts. Please share with us your preferred spirit or cocktail of choice and we will try to arrange it for you to enjoy during your stay. 

We understand the complexities of getting away and know you may need a place to conduct business for a moment.  For that, we have a fully supplied office with internet, computer, and printer.
